Lizzy Engaged

What an upset! My distress when I recieved the abrupt letter from Mr. Bennet detailing Lizzy;s engagement to Darcy was undescribable. Normally I would console myself that Lizzy was at least engaged to Lady Catherine's nephew, but even Lady Catherine herself is unhappy, and Lady Catherine's disapproval of her own nephew's engagement is not to be trifled with. The one good news I recieved this week is thankfully happy enough to far surpass this. Charlotte is expecting a child. What joy!

  1. Do not presume to understand me, Mr. Collins. Know your place, you short man, and know that Lizzy and I will be perfectly happy without your opinions or Lady Catherine's. I laugh at a man who knows love. A BABY! Congratulations!

  2. My goodness, I am very happy that Charlotte is expecting! This brings great joy! Aside from the good news I would like to say that I do not care about what Lady Catherine thinks about the possibility of Mr. Darcy and I marrying. I am sure that if we choose to do so, we would be happy! Your words also do not make a difference!

  3. I whole heartedly agree with your opinion. Elizabeth is no suitable match for such a gentleman. I tried to be polite, and even show her around London, and how does she repay me? The two-faced, lower class, insolent girl.

  4. Once again, oompa loompa, you are jealous of my success. I am now engaged with Lizzy, something that you had attempted to do and failed. Then, you asked the first girl you saw to marry and you got lucky and she agreed. You can say to me that I had once been denied also, but the difference between you and me is that I am persistent and I got what I actually wanted. By the way, I did not expect you having a child, have a good time looking up to it.

  5. That's right Mr. COllins. I am sooo much better than you. Elizabeth likes me because I am way better than you. You are just jealous of my success and my marriage to Elizabetgh who is way better than Charlotte. Oh and congrats on the child!

  6. Dear Mr. Collins, you need not voice such oppenions. I an sorry if I offend you but my sister deserves to be happy. If she did not want to be happy with you than you need to get over it. You have your own wife now and a babby on the way. I an truely happy for you. I only think that it is time you start paying more attention to your own affairs and less to thing of none of your concern. Lizzy and Darcy are none of your buisseness and you need to mind their privecy. Best wishes to you and the misses in you endevours to start a family.

  7. Mr. Collins, instead of basing your opinions upon others off of how Lady Catherine sees them, maybe you should start thinking for yourself. Lady Catherine is not the wonderful, prestigious women you make her out to be. And another thing, you should stop investing your time on other people's (mainly mine) problems and start spending time with your own family.

  8. You voiced your disappointment very clearly in a letter to my father, Mr. Collins. Tell me, did Charlotte know about the letters you sent to my father? I do not think she would like it if you were to interfere with my affairs. Next time you have something to say, Sir, please say it to me.

  9. Mr. Collins, there is no need to be so haughty and prejudiced. Honestly, what harm could arise from my daughter and Mr. Darcy's marriage?
