The Wedding
I recieved word that my dear cousin Lydia and Wickham were married in London this weekend. I was extremely offended by the slight the Bennets gave to me. Why was I not invited? I live fairly close to London and definitely would have gone. llady Catherine claims that the Bennets definitely should have thrown a far more lavish wedding.

I am sure they had there reasons for not inviting you. They probably did not want you to have to do unnecessary travelling since it was such a small wedding. Please do not think ill of my family.
ReplyDeleteYou werent invited because zyou were not good enough to go. I was actualy invited because the Bennets like me. You are no benefit to society unlike me. The wedding was not lavish because they didn't want it to be. It was a perfectly fine wedding.
ReplyDeleteI believe that you were not invited because you have never shown any interest in any of the Bennet's well beings! You wanted to marry both Elizabeth and Jane without even getting to know them. I am sure that they think of you as a creep! I hope that answers your question.
ReplyDeleteI know that you are feeling left out for not attending the wedding, but do not feel so sad about it. We also did not attend her wedding, for we were to have her visit our house for a while. Lydia and Wickham probably had a misunderstanding and forgot about inviting you. You know that you and Mrs. Collins are important to our family.
